Do you need assistance when travelling with Eurolines?
Eurolines UK actively seeks to comply with all parts of EU legislation, Passenger Rights 2013.
Amongst other things the Regulation provides guidelines on: travel for disabled customers, compensation processes, provision of information throughout passenger journeys and non-discrimination.
A full version of the legislation is available from http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/passenger-rights/bus-and-coach/index_en.htm
Our aim is to make European coach travel accessible to all and we will strive to continue to improve our services wherever possible to achieve this.
We have set up a dedicated department to deal with all queries relating to assisted travel and what we can and can’t do. For further information or to make a reservation please contact the:
Assisted Travel Team phone: 08717 818179
(calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras. Lines open 8am-8pm 7 days a week)
Some things to remember:
• Assisted Travel should be booked 36hrs or more in advance wherever possible
• Unfortunately coaches on our European network are not fully wheelchair accessible therefore we can only carry wheelchairs that can be stored in the hold and customers need to be able to walk onto the coach themselves with only light assistance
• Where we have stations with staff we can offer more assistance
• Many of our routes have only one driver so assistance during the journey itself will not always be possible
